zurk Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 trying out the firewall...it seems to disable skype on my linksys cit400 voip phone and p2p stuff when enabled and also screws up internet connection sharing. any harm is leaving it off ? i have no services running and ive apple updated all the way to the latest including security patches.. i tried noobwall and waterwall(?) - the ipfw front ends and they both screwed up my internet connection sharing. since the mac is a gateway its not practical to run it w/o sharing my internet connection.
