damnet
If your computer runs OSX fine but tends to take a while to boot \ get to the login screen then try this, i found that on 3 different machines this made them boot extrememly fast. Open a terminal and as root nano /etc/rc Find the line: kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTPMACPI.kext/ (it is quite far down in the file, use Ctrl+V to PgDwn the document) Place a # at the front of the line so it looks like this: #kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTPMACPI.kext/ Hit Ctrl+O to save Ctrl+X to exit Reboot system Hope this helps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/967-slow-booting/ Share on other sites
