smooth3006 Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 for some reason no wmv streaming video will play in my internet explorer 7 browser ? all it does is download the video and open up the external windows media player 11. i want to be able to view videos from within the browser, not an external player. how can i fix this ? ive looked all over the net and it seems to be a big problem with vista and ie7. i also haven't found any concrete answers. macprogrammer Posted April 26, 2008 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I would try opening Windows Media Player 11 Options or Preferences, and make sure a checkbox that says something like "Play media in browser" is checked. If that doesn't work, make sure you have the latest version and patches for Windows Media Player.
