Intel 82801BA ac97 - working speakers but not headphone out

Hi. I've got a sony vaio with kalyway 10.5.2 installed, and most things work fine apart from the sound. from the beginning the speakers worked fine, just when i conenct something to the headphone out, there's nothing coming from them.

 

 

Ive tried the audio guide in the wiki but that does the same thing. I've tried AppleAzaliaAudio.kext from 10.4.3 - apparently that works for ICH7 intel sound but it didn't for me.

 

Is there anything else i can try??
