When I woke up this morning, I saw that Apple has released yet another security update for Leopard. Having not seen any posts so far on here about it, (Numberz must be sleeping) I threw caution to the wind and ran the update. After the required reboot, I was very happy to see my desktop come back up. After taking a quick look at my system, it seems to be running fine.

I am running 10.5.2 with the pc-efi v8 patch so I did not expect any problems. The specs on my system are listed below.

Why is it that when Microsoft offers up patches, security updates, etc, Mac owners view it as an example of a flawed system but when Apple releases patches, security updates, (with almost equal regularity) it is viewed by Mac owners as a wonderful thing?
