Okay....so everything is working wonderful, I updated to 10.5.2, installed all of the software updates and have been running rine, sleep works, shutdown works, however my restart does not work. i was wondering if there was anyway to fix this? I thought that the netkas 9.2.0 sleep kernel may help but i have no idea how to download that kernel.

On another front, i attempted to use the windows bootloader with the chain0 method however when i chose MacOSX i got the following error:

file <windows root>\system32\hal.dll is missing or corrupt pleadse re-install.

Any ideas. Much appreciated

i would download it from the irc, except i have no clue whatsoever on how to use irc

and heres my boot.ini

[boot loader]

timeout=30

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

C:\chain0="Mac OS X86"

thanks

anyone else have any ideas?

not for author, but just for history... :)

check if you have chain0 file on hard drive. windows disk repair can delete it by mistake.

if there's no such file, then you just need to copy in again.

for me this solution worked with tboot, and can work with chain0 as well
