I've done so many google searches and tried changing so many kexts but I just havn't been able to get a 1440x900 resolution for my monitor (SyncMaster 920NW). I don't have a DVI socket on the back of my Dell Dimension 3000 ( here are the specs) so I have to stick with the old school connection for the moment. Is there any way to get this resolution to work? The only option I have in preferences is 1024x768. If it's not possible then I'd be happy just knowing that. thanks in advance and if this question has already been answered I'm sorry. I did have a good look before posting. jordan0107 Posted November 15, 2008 Share Posted November 15, 2008 I have the same problem to but my resolution is stuck on 1024x768. I have a Dell Dimension 3000 Intel 82865G Graphics Controller.
