Joshua24anderson Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 I am trying to istall the Iatkos V1.0ir2 on my dell d630 laptop (clean install) with a intel centrino duo (already disabled dou core in bios) anyways i get all the way through the install and reboot but get the infamous blinking curser i have tried everything i could find so far but nothing happens. p.s. I am setting the partion as the mbr okay i got ot past the blinking cursor screen and now it says press any key to edit startup option with the count down but then the screen goes grey then black and stays there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hegemonia76 Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 boot it with a gnu live cd. where you partition actually the gnome. it s around 50mb - 80mb bootable cd. define and format your partitions there as fat32 apply and exit. then try installing it will %100 work. regards, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Boot on the "Gparted live CD" Select you leo partition, right click "flags", unselect "boot" (no additionnal selection) => CLOSE Do the same and re-select "boot" => CLOSE Done.
