Daves-Mac Posted March 25, 2008 Share Posted March 25, 2008 Hi All Im a newbie to this, i have tried several version of leopard for pc the only one i can get to work is Kalyway on a exteral usb HD, i had to get past the "do you you allready own a mac" screen by using a time machine back up image but as soon as you reboot nothing...... The spec of my laptop is; Samsung R60+ (model NP R60Y) ACPI x86 based PC Main board ATI RS600M (i think but not sure) Graphics card; ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 Network Adapters; Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter & Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Ethernet Controller Intel Pentium Dual Core processor T2330 1.6GHz Sound; Realtek High Definition Audio (with EDS) 160GB Hitachi HTS542516K9A300 ATA Device (SATA i think) Any help will do please , if anybody wants to make a install disc i would be more than happy to test it Thanks Dave Keep up the good work !!!!!!!!!!! Daves-Mac Posted March 25, 2008 Author Share Posted March 25, 2008 HI i tried leo4all seams to install and works but again when i reboot nothing, tries to reinstall and gets stuck just hangs, says waiting for somthing sorry cant remember. Don't know how to fix it (i.e. to go through a set-up wizard completely), but I know the workaround - you can merely skip this wizard. To do so, you need to start in 640x480x16 graphic mode - in this case the wizard will not start at all. Next reboot you can start again with regular resolution.
