I think anyone -- and especially low-tech new-comers -- will find this the way to go. Now all that is needed is a few more ghost images for download. What would be most useful is an image of an install with SSE2 mach_kernel as default (the kernell with all Maxxuss patches), plus all usually needed kext installed or available, and SSE3 kernel in the root to use as an option at boot, or to be made active after boot.
