lnsemsf
I'm having trouble getting 10.4.4 to install. WHat I get is about the time it says "finishing installation" it exits out of OSX and goes to the terminal, stays there for about 20 seconds, then I get a blue background and a mouse pointer and then nothing but that spinning waiting thing and then nothing. Does this happen normally or is there a way to stop it? I've tried not setting the 10.4.4 volume as boot so I can reboot back in to 10.4.3 and finish the installation steps on Maxxuss's site but when I set the 10.4.4 volume as boot it doesnt accept it as a valid boot device. So far this has happened each of the 4 times I've tried to Install 10.4.4 and I get no farther and it never will see a 10.4.4 valid bootable partition. My specs are an MSI Neo4 platinum board, AMD X2 4400+ processor, and I'm booting to a 120gb HD partitioned in to a 20gb partition for 10.4.3 and a 100gb partition for 10.4.4. Any ideas on how I can get this thing completed? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9485-1044-doesnt-finish-installing-from-1043/ Share on other sites
