Hi,

Cannot seem to get any video signal. I open a DVD (or any video file for that matter) with Quicktime/DVD Player/VLC and I get no video but audio. Its either a black screen (DVD Player) or white screen (VLC/Quicktime). I have tried other output methods (ie Quartz, OpenGL) and no success.

I have read similar things online. Anyone have a solution? or and idea?

Computer Specs:

Asus P4P800 Deluxe

Intel P4 Northwood 2.8 (SSE2 only)

ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128mb AGP using Callisto 008 and CallistoFB for QE/CI

8.9.1 Kernel with non efi patches (installed using XXX_10.4.11 dvd)

DPC

Still no luck. Using latest version of Quicktime.

One thing though. When I play through VLC I still only get audio and a blank white screen but I right click the video and click snapshot it saves a snapshot of the video currently playing and the snapshot shows the real image.

Using a DVI output (as opposed to analog) if that matters.

Also it seems to be completely irrelavent of the file being used (Tried AVIs, DiVx, FLVs, etc.)

Also online flash video streaming works however.

Any ideas gurus?
