BUT i've got an issue with my physical memory. when i have a look via "about this mac" it says i'm running with 4.12GB SDRAM - when looking at the size of the memory via the activity monitor it says 512MB SDRAM (and that's also the amount it actually uses). the "funny" thing is, that i've actually got 1GB. my system: --------------- CPU Type: ADP2,1 Number Of CPUs: 2 CPU Speed: 2.79 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB CPU Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM TPR Memory: 1 GB Bus Speed: 800 MHz Boot ROM Version: 6.00 PG (Phoenix Technologies, LTD) --------------- perhaps somebody had the same issue and a solution for it. thanks!
