I have an iMac running Leopard, and a original Leopard install DVD. So i want install Leopard on my AMD PC too. I know you've to patch the DVD but i don't know how. So far, i think the first step is to rip al the data from the Leopard DVD, i did this but the whole thing is only 1,4gb! Is there any1 who can give a quick step by step tutorial how to patch my original Leopard DVD, and burn it. so that it's bootable and i can install it on my AMD PC. komeet
I recommend to use one of the compilations floating around. Zephyroth and Leo4all are quit good for AMD. If you still want to use your original DVD there is a guide for Intel here in this forum. I think you can follow this guide but keep in mind that you have to patch many application with Marvin's AMD utility to make it work on AMD processors. nkear5
You would save yourself a lot of time and hassle by just downloading one of the existing torrents from the web, it worked for me, it should work for you.
