-illusionz-
I don't get it. I installed Tiger, right. And I get the silver background with an Apple logo, loading. Then the screen just cuts to black, no cursor, no nothing. I can press Caps Lock and stuff, so I know the computer is still responding, but it just doesn't show up. Any help? bibendum
make sure you're using a supported GFx card. Patrick
-illusionz-
Oddly enough, I tried using my onboard Graphics by disabling my PCIe card, and instead of hanging at a black screen, it just hung at the Apple Loading Logo screen.
bibendum
You have to have drivers installed to support either onboard gfx or your card. What hardware are you using? Patrick
-illusionz-
My Card Is a Nvidia 7600 GS. How would I install the drivers to use that? I tried leopard, and that worked with my card, but it was just too slow and laggy for some strange reason.
bibendum
I would investigate Natit and NvInject. Does it work if you boot in safe mode? Patrick
-illusionz-
Can I ask how to boot it in safe mode?
MiJKa
-x (with an added flavor of) -v (for verbose printout as well).
