hello.

I'm trying to install OS X 10.4.10 modified by XXX on my asus A9RP laptop.

The problem is that this laptop has harddrive connected to secondary channel.

DVDRW is on primary but set as slave, and i cannot find any jumpers to change it.

Problem is that during boot from instalation disc it stops on that damn message

"still waiting for root device". I cannot move just into GUI on this hardware.

Actually i tried to move this HDD on my main computer, connect it as primary master

and install the system. Instalation was succesfull but after moving drive back to laptop,

boot wasnt posible.

Do you have some idea what I would do? I really like OSX and i would be very happy using it on

my laptop.

I don't think your problem has anything to do with whether your drive is the secondary/primary slave/master. I think there's another deeper problem. Try searching the forum for "still waiting for root device" or just searching via your favorite search engine (google, yahoo, altavista, etc).
