Ay benefit to formatting a storage drive to GUID instead of MBR?

I have a 750gb drive for storing video, music, files, etc. Are there any benefits to have this drive use a GUID partition table over MBR, under OS X (Leopard)? Ie stability, speed, etc.? Or does it really not matter?

I'd say it's unlikely. The system would only read the partition table (be it MBR, APM, GPT or whatever else exists) when mounting the volume(s). The data stored within partition boundaries would depend only on the file system, apart from minor details such as BIOS PCs having boot loader code in the first sector.
