sunlite
hi, like in many other threads was talked about there is no ethernet- and wifi-driver available for the dell xps m1530, yet. first of all: my system and configuration, maybe there are some new information about this. my system: dell notebook xps m1530 ethernet: marvell yukon 88E8040 (1394) wifi: intel pro wireless 3945 a+b+g audio: sigmatel graphic: nvidia geforce 8600m gt ok. i got kalyway leopard 1.5.1 running on my laptop. with the graphic, there is no problem. works fine with: http://www.mediafire.com/?sjd9fasl9do (latest: v4.1) but with the network-cards i have a lot of problems. i also need a network-card because of some programs. like autodesk maya. therefore i need to put in to the install-program the mac-adress of my ethernet-card. but mac osx does not show me a mac because no ethernet is installed. is it possible to buy an external usb-ethernet-card which i first can use to get a mac-adress for maya and moreover i can use for going online? maybe a apple-mac-usb-card? what do you guys think of this? do you have tips? thx
