pbeer Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Ok of course im able to clone my drive using ccc,super etc.. Making it bootable is where I get lost.. I believe I have to install startupfiletool ./startupfiletool/ dev/rdisk1s1 ./boot_v8.. I drop the iamefi folder onto the HD im trying to make bootable. I than load my working os x, Im just not sure how to navigate to the file in terminal.. Is there an easier way to do this or a script I can run? pbeer Posted March 18, 2008 Author Share Posted March 18, 2008 OK well I got this done, for those newbies like me... Back up your drive in ccc, than reinstall from leopard kalyway disk.. Migrate everything and your done.. Still cant figure out how to make a bootable clone with leopard but atleast you will have some kind of backup..
