Short answer: no. Reason: part of it will re-enable TPM checks and therefore shut down your system again.

Long answer: pieces and parts are useful. Back up whatever this package updates first, then examine the package contents (download the update from the web instead of via Software Update).

I've not gotten 10.4.4 to work yet so will be a while at least before I know more clearly what I'm talking about here. I'm just re-hashing some other info that's caught my attention recently.

If I get 10.4.4 working wil it possible to update with offical updates from Apple support page???

In short,yes... eventually. Maxxuss however is,as far as I know one man. One superhuman man, who can do amazing things, but still one man. (then again,he may be a aging russian supercomputer, long forgotten since the cold war, that has become self aware and is slowly spreading his influence through the now global internet....,but thats another story) I expect that apple has once again improved the protection in 10.4.5 and once maxxuss has the 10.4.4 patches to what he considers an adquate level he will get the 10.4.5 update working as well. In all things we must be patient,(except of course waiting on our computers to finish installing OSX)
