os X leo the iatkos edition installation troubleshoot

ive got problems installing os X on my intel dual core laptop. i used the iatkos patched dvd and configured the bios properly. after installation the computer reboots and if i take out the dvd it gives me a blinking cursor, ive tried boot flaging it with gparted live cd but that doesnt do the trick. if i keep the dvd in the drive it boots os x the the language selection menu (you know that one with the funky lounge music). i can select my keyboard language, my location and whether to import properties from other machines. since i have nowhere to import them i choose not to. this is where i get stuck. after minutes of waiting it just gives me the same {censored} again. its like on an infinite loop and it doesnt matter which keyboard layout or country i select. can anyone help?
