AntonLaVey
Hello.. I've been trying to install Leopard on my pc for the last few days but i cant make it boot right... So far what i've been doing is: -Boot from DVD (Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI) -On the install part, formatted the only hard drive to Mac format.. -In customize, i selected some drivers (nvidia, nforce, AC97, Lan and others), deleted languages and checked the bootloader box.. -After that, the installations goes fine.. restart.. But here comes the trouble.. i can't make it boot because of the famous "HFS+ partition error".. i read a lot of info about that, but all the solutions are the same (fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0, flag 1 (checked with the print thing), update, write, quit reboot).. i tried that before the installation part and on the install part too.. please help =( my hardware: -Asus M2N-E SLi -AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 3600+ -2GB RAM (2x1024 Dual Channel) -NVidia 8600 GT -10GB Maxtor (used for test ) Thanks a lot.. great forum btw ^^ EDIT: I followed this tutorial too.. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=75295 but still won't work.. i got stuck on the /usr/misc/script.sh part, no such directory o something like that... Same HFS+ partition error thing Thanks again ^^ Edited March 17, 2008 by AntonLaVey
