firesoldier845 Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Well I finally got OSX86 running on my P5B. I used the Kalyway install, with the 10.5.2 patch and his new kernel as well. Just about everything is perfect - sound, networking, etc. I don't even have Jmicron turned on since using SATA drives. I am a total noob when it comes to editing the kexts and installing new ones. I have a MBP and never ever really had to worry about this before cause I've always owned real Macs. So needless to say, what other things do I need to do or install as far as kexts go? Shutdown does not work otherwise so far everything works great. Also are there any specific BIOS settings I need to setup for P5-B?
