Blasted Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Hi, I've downloaded iATKOS v1.0i some time ago, and this weekend I finally gave it a shot. I'm not getting it done though. I have a Clevo D500E laptop, running a P4 3.4Ghz with 1Gb RAM, 40Gb HDD and ATI Mobility Radeon 9600(128Mb). I've checked through CPU-Z, and it is SSE2. I've burned the iATKOS DVD, popped it in and reboot the laptop. Installer acknowledges 1Gb RAM and "VESA 2.0 128Mb(ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 )". It then goes on to show up the grey apple and the spinning circle. However, it just gets stuck there for ever. So far I've tried rebooting, reburning DVD, and running installer on -v. All with no success. What else should I do to make this work? Or perhaps I should try another version - if so, which one? Edit: when on -v install, the installer "stops" on ERROR: Firewire unable to detect security mode; defaulting to full secure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
