I think we need to look at the details, collect some info.

- Restart OS X with option -v (verbose) to get details in the logs.

- When everything is running, pull out the USB Wifi adapter wait a little and plug it in again.

- In Console you can find All messages & system.log, copy all relevant messages from the latest restart into textedit, upload files to here.

- In Terminal, run 'sudo ifconfig -a > ifconfig.txt' , upload file to here. This shows configured network cards

- In Terminal, run 'ioreg -lxw400 > ioreg.txt' , upload to here. This lists what the system thinks it knows about your hardware

- In Terminal, run 'kextstat > kextstat.txt' , upload to here. Shows loaded kexts (kernel extensions)

Q: In System Preferences > Network, do you see any networks there ? (details please, PrtSc perhaps, upload..)

Q: In System Preferences, is there any DLink configuration program ? (my DWL-G122 have an app called DWL-G122 for config)

Please zip the files before uploading, and maybe you want to read the collected files yourself also..

One can always learn something new ; )

All for now.
