Syzyx
Here's a little scenario... I'm in my Mac partition, let's say the time is 12:00 (noon). Then, I (right away) reboot under my Windows partition, the time would be different - about 4 (not exact) ahead of what the time should be. Also, if I change the time under Windows, the Mac time changes the same, and so basically I have to choose which partition has the wrong time. It's not a big deal, but was wondering if anybody has had this little bug, and if they found a solution. Thanks. Falcon351
That's fairly well-known by now. OS X assumes that the Real Time Clock stores GMT, while Windows assumes it's local time, hence the discrepancy (unless you happen to live in a GMT zone). One popular solution is to force Windows to synchronise the clock at startup, by executing "w32tm /resync". For this to work, you need to have a network connection and time server available at startup, either local or Internet.
