Ok, so I grabed the XXX_10.4.11 release from the "usual places" and I've been doing some thourough reading because, hey, I want my Hackintosh to work!

My video card is a Geforce 7800GS which is AGP. I've been searching the forums all day and haven't really found any info on its compatibility. If it is compatible, what drivers should I use? Also, I'm pretty confused on the AGP GART stuff. Not sure what I should select for that, if anything, or if I should wait till after the install to modify GART settings..

Just to make things simpler... hopefully... here's my system specs:

P4 3Ghz w/HT, SSE, SSE2, SSE3

Asus P4P800-VM w/ Intel 865G, ICH5, ACL 1980

2x 1Gig Corsair XMS PC3200 (400mhz) in dual channel

Nvidia Geforce 7800GS (AGP)

I'm so psyched, I really want to try and get Logic Studio running. I have Logic Express 7.2 on my old iBook G4, but it really can't handle all the stuff I do, let alone the fact that it won't record more than 4 tracks simultaneously.

In the Hardware > Graphic Cards > there are graphic card supports...

There is one called Universal Nvidia Drivers Package (something like that)

And another called Punk v2.0 which are nVidia supports...

Is your Mac already working... since these will only work when the Mac is running...

Good luck
