akijikan
My steps. I had XP already installed on the machine taking the full space of the HD so I resized the main partition with partitionmagic and used diskpart to create a new primary partition with the id af as according to this guide. Following the same guide I booted kalyway DVD and did the following: Once it has finished loading and displays the first prompt after language select, click to the menu bar at the very top and load Disk Utility.A list of disks should appear on the Left, using your Mouse, right click on the newly created Mac partition, click on Erase, this will allow the Mac to prepare the File System for OS X installation. After that I installed OSX and let it reboot. It booted into OSX and immediately said I needed to restart my computer again. I rebooted again an got a "b0 error". I read to try using bootmagic on Hiren's boot CD to get into OSX and it didn't work. I researched this and a prescribed solution was to boot into a partition tool and make sure the HFS+ partition is flagged active. I did this, rebooted and got the same "b0 error". At this point I just wanted to get back into my windows installation. So I flagged that partition as active and still got a "b0 error". More reading and I found that it was probably a bad MBR so I popped in my Windows disc a ran fixmbr from the repair console. This allowed me to get back into XP. So at this point I figured I could follow the chain0 procedure. I droped chain0 on C:\, edited the boot.ini. There's the OSX entry in the windows boot selection screen. I selected it and got the HFS+ partition error. The only thing I could find to try was making sure the ID was still set to AF on the HFS+ partition. I did this and still got the same error. I'm stuck now and I've read a lot. Enough to be confused about what my next step should be. Suggestions are appreciated. hafudo
when install choose customize. - dont select vanila and ACPI - select SSE2_system - dont select video driver - dont select soundcard - dont select network - boot loader EFI JUST CHOOSE MBR (not GUID) after reboot and loading it will stop and ask you to shut down the computer. just boot from cd, open terminal then Delete the AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext file from your hard drive at: System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext it`s works for me My steps.
