Nadeo
Hello folks, last week i bought myself a new motherboard. An Asus P5K-E WiFi-AP. Upgradet my 2GB noname RAM to 4GB GeIL and installed a new S-ATA DVD-ROM. Now i only got one Problem. My internal S-ATA II Drives (wich runs in ACPI Mode) are shown up orange - wich means they are external. I allready used the search - but dont find any real answers. The only thing i found till now was an modded "AppleAHCI" or so - but this one crashes my installation. I wasn't able to boot (still waiting for boot device error - the same like i switch my S-ATA II Drives to IDE Mode). Now - are there any solutions for the P5K-E? mtotho
go to the guide in my signature. In there, scroll down, there is a fix for orange drives. the reason ur install crashes is because u have to replace appleAHCI and IOAHCIFamily, or whatever its called, if u dont do both, u will crash an install.
