tribiani
I tried to install Leopard on my new PC. I tried several version of Leopard but had no success. I'm very depressed. Please help me..... Here is the configurations of my PC CPU:Intel Core2 Duo E8200 Motherboard:MSI P31 Neo-F GraphicCard:MSI NX8600GT HardDriver:Hitachi 160G SATAII DVD Driver:Pioneer DVR-215CH 20X SATA First, I tried the kalyway Leopard 10.5.1 iso. when booting from the dvd, my computer kept on rebooting constantly. I have no chance to see the installation GUI. Then I tried iATKOS v1.0i Leopard. I saw the gray apple logo and cursing then stuck. I used -v to get the following information: MAC Framework successfully initialized using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers Extension "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_Platform_Plugin" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style. I tried to use the command cpus=1, no success. Then I used the patch of iATKOS r2 and r3, and burn the new iso into dvds. Again, it stuck at the gray apple. with -v, i saw the information which has something more than i got before. I tried to use IDE harddriver, no success. has anybody met the same problem? thanks for any help from you guys.... sniper.de
I've got the same problem here with my Dell Inspiron 1520. I can't even see the installation gui, it just shows this message and then the systems hangs up. Is there anybody with a solution to that? ___keN
No Leopard for P31 Neo (F), you need a fixed BIOS or it won't work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/93052-leopard-installationwhats-the-problem/#findComment-995126 Share on other sites

CreedMac
How did you fix your computer when it kept rebooting? Did windows work after failing with the installation without any harddrive cleaned?
