i have 2 hard drives, 1 X SATA2 installed WinXP in C: and 1 X PATA native installed MAC OS x86 10.4.3a Jas' patched, here is my boot.ini code and the chain0 file that download from internet: pls correct me if i am doing in wrong way, thx

The chain0 method doesn't work with 10.4.3 (only 10.4.1). Use some sort of bootloader to activate the Mac OS X partition, and boot that way. Acronis OS Selector is very good. It's also probably a good idea to make sure the MBR isn't being written or changed by Mac OS X, because it might screw up your Windows partition.

I'm being using chain0 since 10.4.1, work wll with 10.4.3, 10.4.4 and now with 10.4.5.

 

I also set up a grub from linux, grub for DOS and grub for windows.

 

What I found are partitions no initialized with Disk Utility have some probs, but not always, because the bless command can help it.
