AMD Sempron and EFI don't work well -- is there a way to solve that?

Hello!

 

I'm trying to install Leopard 10.5.2 using Zephyroth install DVD. The boot process starts, loads the extensionsm says something like "EFI Bootloader" and then just reboots. It seems that people with AMD Semprons are having exactly the same problem so my question are:

 

Is there a way to fix this problem with EFI?

 

and/or,

 

How do I disable EFI support? Do I have to change the kernel on the install DVD? Do I have to remove some kext? Do I have to use a flag?
