keanon
can anyone help me with this? i would greatly appreciate it. i'm running leopard 10.5.1, iatkos 1.0r2. i've downloaded HDAPATCHER but i'm not sure which codec dump is correct. sony's site does not tell me which REALTEK chipset that the laptop uses, only that it is "realtek high definition audio." i booted from a PCLinux2007 disk, and it told me this about the audio device: VENDOR: 0x8086 DEVICE ID: 0x27d8 SUBVENDOR: 0x104d SUBDEVICE:0x8212 the main speakers work without issue, i just need headphones. slapguts
Another request for the same info. I'm actually on the same Vaio, and the headphone jack is the last thing to get working. EDIT: Got it. Drag this directly to the HDAPatcher, in the applications folder, not the running app in the dock. Straight to the unopened app icon. Type password, let it do it's thing, restart, and plug in the 'phones. ALC262_codec_dump.txt
