RollingMac
It's a Dell C521 with AMD CPU. I tried to install Hackintosh with "Leopard-AMD-10.5.1.iso" (burned to DVD). OK, first time, I made a partition out of Vista; I thought I could partition the free space with my boot DVD. Yet, it hangs in "Preparing to erase". FAILED. Then I get the hard drive out of C521 and use my Mac to partition it. Alright, I can see the partition in my installation now. I select only "essential system" and click "install", but it hangs at "calculating time remaining". FAILED. I didn't give it there. I get the hard drive out again and partition the whole drive with only one partition on it. However, I had the same problem as the second time. So far I still don't have any clues. Installed Vista back for now, but I will keep trying. If anyone has a hint, please send it to me. Can't be thankful any more.
