Jaw3000
I've got everything working great on Kalyway's 10.5.2 and Netkas 9.2.0 sleep kernel (vanilla kernel had reboot/shut-down problems) on my Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R. S1 sleep works, but I can't get S3 sleep to work. When S3 is enabled in my bios, the sleep command just ends up shutting down the system. I'm also using AppleSMBIOS 1.0.13 (in case this matters) Has anyone been able to successfully use S3 sleep on their hackintosh with a similar configuration? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks! eberts
Try disabling USB legacy support (or USB emulation) in BIOS. It prevents system to wake up. Downside: you don't have usb devices before boot (no usb keyboard, so no way to enter single mode) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/92775-s3-sleep/#findComment-699144 Share on other sites
