Hi,

I'm wanting to give a Leopard install a trial run, but the rig I'm planning on throwing it on doesn't have a DVD burner and I don't currently have access to one.

I'm wondering if there's any way to mount and start a Leopard install from an ISO on a hard drive/network in a similar way to starting a Linux install?

I also have a 2Gb USB drive and a 4Gb USB drive running on an M2 card if they're of any use.

My SATA DVD burner was not supported (might be now with newer distros) so I wrote a guide for installing from USB HDD.

Many other steps due to my ICH8R not being supported (again might be with newer distros).

But the basic idea is easy.

Just use another working machine's disk utility to "restore" the install DVD to a partition on your USB drive.

Then boot your machine off the USB drive.
