stoffz Posted March 9, 2008 Share Posted March 9, 2008 Hello there. the past week i've been reading all sorts of stuff (including the wiki), in my hunt to find out wether or not my laptop is capable of running OS X leopard. So i'll post a list with my systems hardware. Intel core 2 duo T7100, 1.8 Ghz nVidia 8600M GT 512 2048 MB ram Windows Vista Home Premium Intel Pro/Wireless 4965AGN 300Mbit 120GB 7200rpm SATA Harddisk SAMSUNG DVD-RW DL Don't know what the name of my motherboard is, but i bet it's an intel something but i've tried to find out, so heres my best shot. --> Intel Mobile 965 Express chipset (code-named Crestline): GM965 with Intel's GMA X3100 I think that's about all that is to know of my system. Would this be able to run OS X 10.5.1 ? I am currently downloading both Kalyway 10.5.1 & IATKOS V1.0ir2 (10.5.1). i don't know which one is best to install with though? or is it just a studip question like "intel or AMD" ? Also regarding my CPU i don't know wether it's a SSE3 or whatever it is? i Wiki'd my processor and also been looking at intel's website and they both mention something about SSE4. But i don't know. Note: Your wireless will probably not work so get used to Wired!
