aspire_5652
installed Image: Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso Hardware: => Laptop: ACER Aspire 5652 wlmi - Intel Core Duo T2300(2x1,66GHz/FSB667) - Chipset: Intel 945PM/GM - nVidia GeForce Go 7600 256MB - 1024MB DDR2 - 120 GB S-ATA digest about my partitioning (fdisk -l, it's in german): Gerät boot. The MAC installation did overwrite my MBR, after the succesfull installation Mac OS did boot correctly. But I have allready WinXP and SuSE Linux installed, and I want to boot them too. So I reinstalled Grub in order to boot XP, SuSE and MAC OS. Now XP and SuSE are bootable again. But I can't get MAC OS X working. I still tried different posted solutions. Here my menu.lst entries: title MacOSX rootnoverify (hd0,7) chainloader (hd0,5)+1 => Error: HFS+ Partition error title MacOSX root (hd0,5) savedefault (<- still tried without this entry) makeactive chainloader --force +1 (still tried: chainloader +1) => Error: Filesystem type unknown (I installed PC_EFI, and followed the instructions, posted here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...p;#entry606752) title MacOSX root (hd0,7) kernel /boot/boot_v8 boot => MAC booted, I can see the Apple approx. 2 seconds, the screen turns to dark grey and I get a message, that the computer must be rebooted manually Is PC_EFI V8 compatible to JaS Mac OS X 10.4.8? Does still anybody have a solution how i get MAC OS X working with grub?
