Hknight
Installation History: I installed Kaly 10.5.1 release and added EFI v8. I downloaded 10.5.2 update from apple but didn't install from Leopard. Instead I booted off Kaly DVD and installed the update manually through terminal, then deleted AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. Ever since my initial install I've only been able to boot with "cpus=1" tag. Before the 10.5.2 update, my About This Mac listed my cpu as a "Core Solo". Now with 10.5.2 it shows "Core 2 Duo" but the Activity monitor is only showing one graph. My bios settings are set at what others have recommended. Any ideas on how to utilize both of my cores and boot normally? Hknight
I ordered the Retail 10.5.1 and it gets here tomorrow. Maybe a much more vanilla install will fix this issue.
