swimfan
Running ASUS P5k (just p5k), core2 quad 6600, 2 gigs of ram, geforce 8600gt and a 500gb HD on SATA port 1. Installing leopard via kalyway 10.5.1 on a USB dvd drive. tried almost every bios change imaginable and i still get a kernal panic. It says Loading Darwin/x86 for about 5-6 minutes. Screen turns grey with the apple logo for about a second and then the kernal panic happens. i know this isn't a crazy configuration, so has anyone else had this problem? iatkos doesn't kernal panic, but it hangs on the apple logo with the spinning circle indefinitely.
