X400 leo w/ sata

I'm installing kalyway leo on a toshiba laptop.

processor is celeron M 1.2 gb ram. Ati X400 chip set

The hdd is sata which is where the problem comes in..

 

after a while when the drivers and stuff are done loading,

 

I Keep seeing "still waiting for root device"

 

I looked around and that seems to be a problem for sata drives.

 

And my BIOS suks

 

Any help??

apparently the hdd driver loads right but the problem is the dvd drive
