pmahoney
I run the same board and a celeron 430 chip. With the Kalyway install you should be fine. the only thing I needed to patch was the audio. If you are going to update all the way to 10.5.2 be careful, I tried it but the on board video then needed patching, but the real problem was my wireless card a Linksys WMP300N was no longer working. So I dropped back down to 10.5.1 and all is well again. If you can bump up to two gigs of ram, leopard does better especially if you are going to be running multiple apps. Ram is fairly cheap. Λύκος
Might want to get a slightly better processor. E1200 is $58 at newegg. Not sure where you're buying the Celeron from, but the difference is only like $10-15 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/92117-my-budget-setup/#findComment-658361 Share on other sites
