Lolitka
Hello, i have installed iAtkos and i get "you need to restart your computer" error after first boot. I foloved installation steps, but to be sure: i repartitioned hdd in partition ulitility to have only one drive vic mac jourlal filesystem and i named it macos run darvin boot utiliti, started it, choosed 1 as HDD and 1 as partition (i have only one HDD) and choosed to not install EFI emulation then i installed macos and in configuration i selected to add intel 100 VE drivers (i'm trying it on dell optiplex gx280) started installation started gparted set partition flag boot reboot from HDD ERROR \: and when i try to boot with -v it ends up with panic error and hugs on line Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0: Fri Nov 16 14:50L43 SCT 2007; made by ToH:xnu-1228.0.1~1/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 error is panic(cpu 0 caller 0x001A8387): Kernel trap at 0x1155392c, type 14=page fault, registers registers list Error code: 0x00000003 then debuger is called and ends tracing at com.apple.driver.ApplIntelCPUPowerManagement(9.24.0)@0x115520000->0x11569fff BTW dell optiplex gx280 config is: pentiun 4 HT 512MB RAM som IDE HDD (40GB+) DVD ROM integrated intel pro 100VE network card integrated intel graphics (probably extre graphics 2) integrated soundcard (i think that it is analog devices ac97 codec, but i'm not 100% sure about codec producer) etc. chipset is probably intel 945ge or something old like that
SticMAC™
I think you need to run it off a SSE2 kernel not TOH's
Lolitka
Uh, ToH is SS2 AND SS3, or not?! EDIT I checked some additional component in installation according to com.apple.driver.ApplIntelCPUPowerManagement and it now booted!
Lolitka
Hmm now, forgive me my totaly newbie question, but where can i find something like device manager to see if i have my soundcar, graphics card and network card installed corectly network card is probably not, case i can't connect, even if i included network drivers in installation, but maybe i need some patch or something. Currently im most currious about graphics card - minimalisation animation is sometime slow and moving windows is sometimes too not exacly aero like smooth. But maybe this old graphics card is too slow for it? So i want to somehow check if it installed correctly.
