dmoseder
Hellos guys i am new and i just found this wonderful forum. Recently i have been attempting to install Mac OS X onto VMware on my desktop. I downloaded the image: Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso I did everything correctly and installed Mac but when it started to boot up i got the error saying i was trying to run a 64bit operating system and mine was only 32bit. Are there any images out there that are 32bit? So far when i was looking none of them specify. I have a Intel Core 2 Duo so I do have SSE3. Thanks for the help everyone! tommytom02
you need to make sure to set the operating system type to be a 64-bit freebsd system when you create the VM Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91985-mac-os-x-104xx-32bit/#findComment-657255 Share on other sites

tommytom02
it should be fine. the emulated system is not dependent on the base system. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91985-mac-os-x-104xx-32bit/#findComment-658623 Share on other sites
