I currently have an AMD system, and I'm looking to upgrade to a new mobo/CPU/RAM and I'd like to use OSX as my primary OS. I currently have two GeForce 7600GTs so I'd prefer to find a mobo that is SLI compatible for when I boot into windows for any serious gaming. I'd like to aim at no more than $400 for the three pieces, but depending on compatibility / horsepower I might be swayed past that number. I'd also like to have a wireless card thats supported as a native airport card.

What I've been looking at so far:

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3P (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128083)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819115031)

RAM: GeIL EVO ONE 2GB (2 x 1GB) (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820144212)

Wireless: ENCORE ENLWI-N (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16833180052)

Any suggestions on anything would be greatly appreciated. Any arguments for a differant mobo, quad core vs dual core, stock fan vs OEM chip and aftermarket fan, etc...

Thanks a ton!

The GA-EP35-DS3P is a good mobo but it won't do SLI - you need an nVidia chipset mobo for that. Unless you consider Crossfire with Radeon

cards, then this board would work, though to get full benefits of Crossfire you'd need an X38 chipset mobo.

Well I already have two GeForce 7600s so I was hoping any to get a mobo that could still support that in windows mode, but at the same time I'd like to get the most compatible mac hardware I could (meaning I'd like to avoid the nForce boards)

So I guess I'm screwed in that aspect, maybe it would be better to just sell my two 7600GTs and get a single 8800 or something?
