Ma se già cosi' qualcuno che riesce aleggere il mio inglese puo' darmi qualche aiuto lo ricordero' per sempre e gli fsaro' edificare un monumento: Hi everybody... i've a problem booting leopard with Linux OpenSUSE 10.3 GRub. Infact, if I add this: title MacOS Xroot (hd0,1) makeactive chainloader +1 to my menu.lst grub file, i receive this error when booting: Error 12: Invalid device requested Instead, if I add only this: title MacOS Xroot (hd0,1) chainloader +1 (without the makeactive command)to my menu.lst file i receive this error: HFS+ Partition Error I've tried to fix it with this guide i've found in this forum: f u have linux installed or u r using GRUB bootloaderjust press c to bingup the grub console type : geometry (hd0) this give u the filesystems of all partitions from that find OS X partition (id :AF) type: unhide (hd0,2) makeactive (hd0,2) to boot OS X from GRUB type: root (hd0,2) makeactive chainloader +1 But, as i sayd at the begin, when i type makeactive (hd0,1) in my grub console i get this error: Error 12: Invalid device requested ... Please help me... This is my computer configuration: Acer Aspire 5920g (windows vista + Macos x leopard kalyway + opensuse 10.3) partition 1 ntfs primary win vistapqrtition 2 macos journaled primary macos leopard partition 3 unformatted (i'll use it for data) partition 4 extended l --> partition 5 logical linux swap l --> partition 6 logical ext3 linux root l --> partition 7 logical ext 3 linux home (data) I use mbr system and grub is installed in mbr, opensuse and vista work and i can boot them from grub without errors. I hope you will help me because i really need help. Thank you very much in advice. desmogix Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 io ho risolto problema 12 e problema 13, in boot dal grub di linux così: da win ho liberato lo spazio con partition magic, ho formattato con diskpart in af create partition primary size=XXX id=af cmq hai riprovato a fare l'istallazione ? poi ho installato Mac OS e mi è partito subito... prima di fare questo mi dava errore 13 (cioè credevo fosse un problema di boot, di grub ecc... poi ho capito che non dipendeva da questo) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91699-errori-boot-leopard-da-grub/#findComment-654148 Share on other sites More sharing options...
