1. Download Kalyway 10.5.1 off torrent site and burn to DVD.

 

2.make sure the HDD drive is on the top sata port on the right with your DVD rw on the left.

 

3.Put the kalyway disk you made into the DVD rw and type f8 once you see the countdown but before the countdown stops, then type -v this is to see if all of your hardware is compatible if not it will hang or give you the errors for that device, if there are no errors you will come to an Install screen.

 

4.One at the install screen click the arrow to continue, once the bar comes on top click utilities, then click disk utility and format your drive to GUID partition table by selecting you drive from the right and selecting partition. Once that is finished close disk utility.

 

5.Click continue until you see customize on the lower left side of the install window you will need to click on it to select the vanilla kernel and GUID EFI BOOT.

Once you have made sure you have those two custom options checked in the customize screen click ok and proceed with your install.

 

6. Once install is finished hit restart, and after it restarts eject the disk before your Mac boots back up. If you are having problems after this step you can boot as in the first step to see what errors it is giving you, if not proceeded with your system set up.

 

7.Once you have your system set up go here for NVIDA drivers, http://scottdangel.com/blog/?p=18 download v.33 and install, them go here and download the 889a Kext file for your sound , http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...amp;hl=gigabyte once you have that kext file downloaded copy it's contents into you system/library/extensions, and enter you password to replace the kext files. Now the tricky part open your terminal and type the following pressing enter after each line entered

 

 

sudo -s

 

chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions

rm /system/library/extensions.kextcache

kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions

 

reboot

 

 

8.Once restarted download and install Kalyway 10.5.2 Kernals and install it, once complete, download kalyway hack 10.5.2 update from torrent site and install but it is very important you do not hit restart after it is finished or it could mess up the update.

 

9.Now that you are at the update install complete restart screen of the 10.5.2 update, open your disk utility in finder and Repair your Disk Permissions, this is important because that is the only way I have tried it.

 

10. Once complete click RESTART on the updater screen, it might reboot by it self once but just let it reboot!!! by itself.......Enjoy
