Lazz767
I'm just trying to install kalyway. The first time i did the install it went properly but i had to type cpus=1. I made a mistake during the install so i stopped, formatted the hd and started over. Now it just sticks at the apple loading screen(the grey one). Any suggestions?ok i did -v cpus=1 and now it got to the point where it says MAC Framework successfully initialized but its stuck at IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 0:23can someone please help... freeze2112
Hi, did you get to have it work? I am too stuck on the apple logo.
M_A_G_G_I
Same problem here. The installation of Kalyway 10.5.2 on my s-ata hd was fine, but it now hangs on boot screen. My sys: E8200 MSI P35 Neo2 FR 3GB DDR-1066 ATI Radeon X1950XT S-ATA DVD-Brenner 80GB S-ATA HD, 160GB S-ATA HD, 40GB IDE HD I tried all Kernels with flags (-v -x "cpus=1") and different installations (with all drivers, no driver, only ....) and bios options. I see only the Apple logo and a turning circle like this: With flag -v the last lines are: "MAC Framework succesfully initialized" "using 15728 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers" So it's not displaying any error code! I waited for about half an hour but nothing happened, there seems to be no hd activity.
Danneman
Perhaps you did the same mistake as I. Check my topic here and third post for solution: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=120174 Reinstall everything, but this time do NOT select any video-drivers.
