Synaesthesia Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Well that is a bug in bootcamp, it's not supposed to work that way. The jack senses the plug and switches off the sound, (which is what you usually want, eg. for headphones)... Anyway, 2 possible solutions: - Play music in bootcamp - Follow this guide at the bottom of the page about the iSub. It's a workaround involving an iMic usb card... Otherwise, there's nothing to do. Unless you want to take apart your iMac and physically mod the little jack. I don't recommend doing this... AFAIK this works though i'm not 100% sure on OS X compatibility (I did see one in Wal Mart today) Im not stupid I just activated the apple care No one said you were.
