ArtieLange
The install went flawlessly . . . no issues at all and I was able to boot right into the Leopard OS and use it, save no sound and no ethernet. Ethernet being the more important of the two for me, I went to the network settings and all I could see on the left side was a very nice Mac graphic of the firewire logo and a note that indicated Firewire was not connected. Apparently my ethernet adapter was not being discovered. I did my homework and found the skge.kext file and then did more homework figuring out how to get root access to intall it, and finally got it installed fine, got the message to cross my fingers and reboot, and still the network adapter appears invisible. The motherboard is an Asus P5LP-LE motherboard with an onboard LAN adapater. The adapter is an Intel 82562GT 10/1000 adapater. Any help would be much appreciated.
